Barcelona to host the next MICHELIN Guide 2023 Gala
Barcelona has been chosen by the organisers of one of the largest and most important gastronomic events in the world.

Barcelona will host the presentation ceremony for the Michelin Stars Guide on November 28, 2023. The city was chosen by the organizers for its respect for tradition in a cosmopolitan and fusion cuisine that stands out for its constant creativity and innovation. This is the first edition in which the selection of restaurants in Spain is presented without the representation of Portugal. Barcelona has a total of 35 stars in 24 restaurants, and a total of 70 restaurants with different distinctions appearing in the 2023 edition of the Michelin Guide Spain and Portugal. The selection of restaurants in Spain for the 2024 edition will be made in two separate events, one for Spain in Barcelona on November 28, 2023, and, for the first time, another for Portugal in Lisbon in January 2024. The Michelin Green Star will be awarded in this edition to recognize establishments committed to sustainable gastronomy and the future of the planet."
