Barcelona Shopping City
Barcelona Shopping City promotes the city as a shopping destination and provides travel trade members with information about shopping and related activities: itineraries, shopping experiences, shopping maps and shopping guides. We provide information about Barcelona’s main shops, the Barcelona Shopping Line and Barcelona Unique Shops.
Functions
- To promote Barcelona as a leading, world-renowned shopping destination under the name Barcelona Shopping City.
- To establish and bring to a wider audience the Barcelona Shopping Line as a unique retail model blending architecture, culture, gastronomy and services.
- To include groups of shops that offer their customers distinctive and unique products and services under the Barcelona Unique Shops label.
- To make people aware of our member shops, associations and shopping centres in order to channel demand from abroad and improve the services we offer our customers.
- To organise and create marketable guided trails around neighbourhoods that include experiences at shops specialising in different goods and the neighbourhood’s cultural and culinary offer.
- To create and distribute online and offline dissemination tools, products and services for retail professionals and lovers of shopping, including shopping trails, the Shopping Card, experiences, guides, maps, etc.
- To organise directly, or in conjunction with other associations and shops, events and campaigns including Barcelona Shopping Days and Christmas Shopping in Barcelona.
- Tax Free Cash Refund service available at two offices in the city centre with the main operators.
