Barcelona is a dynamic, modern and creative city with its own unique lifestyle. It boasts a wide variety of cultural and leisure attractions showcasing the genuine expressions of its identity and culture.
The Barcelona Cultura programme was set up in 2010 to establish Barcelona’s position as a culture and entertainment destination and to bring together and disseminate its offer among visitors and professional at home and abroad.
Functions
- To promote Barcelona as a culture and entertainment destination.
- To disseminate Barcelona’s quality offer geared to a quality demand with an interest in culture.
- To produce informational elements for visitors about the different establishments that make up the city’s cultural and leisure offer.
- To draw up a plan of activities associated with culture and entertainment and to foster the creation of tourism products.
Our members
The programme comprises more than 160 amenities classified as follows:
- Cultural amenities: Museums, exhibition centres, places of architectural interest, art galleries, etc.
- Entertainment: Leisure amenities, promoters, leisure transport, entertainments and live music, theatres, festivals and traditions, multi-attraction passes, etc.
