Turisme de Barcelona has renewed its executive body following elections convened by the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce and City Council. The first meeting of the Executive Committee took place last July and discussed different matters including September's fast-approaching calendar of events, which will begin with a period of intense activity in the congress sector and the World Tourism Organisation (WTO) meeting, which will elect the chair and deputy chair of its Affiliate Members, following Turisme de Barcelona?s appointment to its Board.
The meeting was attended by ex officio members who make up the Executive Committee with representatives from the Chamber of Commerce and the Barcelona Promotion Foundation. The General Council meeting will be held in September.
