Turisme de Barcelona presented the new promotion "City Experiences" program during B-Travel, which aims to promote the decentralization of cultural activity throughout the city's districts. The program is funded by the tourist tax and aims to expand the calendar of events and activities that have the potential for international projection. The new campaign is called "BCN X 10", which refers to the different activities available in the ten districts, with the aim of showcasing the different aspects of the city. The campaign includes 18 different proposals and experiences across different districts, such as the Raval Cultural Festival and the Sant Andreu Jazz Festival. The program targets both visitors and locals, as the VisitBarcelona website has seen a 46% increase in local visitors in the last year. The campaign also aims to encourage visitors to explore other areas outside the city center, with a reported 10% of international visitors already taking excursions outside of the city.
