New Card for Promoting Modernism off the Normal Tourist Routes
'Barcelona Pass Modernista' is the first themed product which includes products from the city and surrounding areas in a single package.

Turisme de Barcelona has launched the 'Barcelona Pass Modernista' card, a new pass similar to the 'Barcelona City Pass' or 'Barcelona Card', similar to those existing in many other cities, but specialising in a specific cultural area, modernism. It is intended for repeat visitors (who account for over 50% of visitors) interested in culture but who, as they get to know the city, no longer visit the most popular attractions. They can use this pass to explore modernism in greater depth, going beyond the major sites and globally renowned architects, and going off the normal tourist routes.
The pass is valid for seven days, for the fixed price of 90?, and includes entrance to 15 modernist buildings in Barcelona and four nearby towns (Mataró, Canet de Mar, Terrassa and Sitges) and a mini-guide. If you visit all these attractions you can save 50% by using the pass.
This initiative contributes to the goal of decentralising and distributing the benefits from tourism to other locations outside the city of Barcelona.
