The campaign relaunches the promotion of the city as one of the world’s top urban destinations

The city is launching the first promotional campaign aimed at visitors from Spain and abroad since the start of the pandemic. The campaign seeks to reboot Barcelona as one of the world’s top urban destinations and to encourage people to rediscover the city after lockdown as a more vibrant, diverse and sustainable place. Its main targets are visitors from the domestic and European markets: Spanish, British, French, Italian and German.

Under the slogan Barcelona like never before, the campaign seeks to revive the visitor economy and take advantage of the current context to reposition the city as a tourist destination, as well as its identity. Through a ground-breaking, inspirational and motivating video, the poet, video artist and winner of the 2020 Poetry Slam World Cup in Paris, Dani Orviz, lends his voice to a story about the recovery and relaunch of the city after lockdown.

The campaign sets out to highlight the quality of life in Barcelona, as well as its values, such as creativity, innovation, design, cultural life and sustainability that make it a multifaceted destination that is truly unique.
