Gastronomy is one of the cornerstones of Catalan culture. This culinary wealth has helped establish Barcelona as a city which is a treasure trove of extraordinary, varied and high-quality gastronomy. The Catalan capital has also come under the international spotlight thanks to its restaurants and famous chefs. Not for nothing does Barcelona have 20 Michelin-starred eateries.

Them main objectives of the gastronomy program are:- To promote the city’s culinary offering.
- To establish Barcelona as a gastronomic destination.
- To attract new visitors, congresses and trade fairs to the city.
- To involve all the sectors associated with gastronomy and the restaurant industry.
- To create tourism products associated with gastronomy (culinary trails, tours…).

- Listing on the Turisme de Barcelona website with specific information about members and a booking service.
- Dissemination through the congresses and trade fairs held in Barcelona.
- You will be featured in the Sales Guide and other Turisme de Barcelona publications.
- Journalists from Spain and abroad and members of the travel trade who visit the city will be given information about the restaurants.
