The Barcelona Culture and Leisure programme was created to enhance Barcelona’s position as a cultural destination and to reap the benefits of the city’s excellent cultural and recreational offering.
Objectives
The main objectives of Barcelona Culture & Leisure programme are:- To attract new visitors who are interested in culture and leisure.
- To reap the benefits of the city’s excellent cultural and recreational offering: an area that is increasingly popular with visitors.
- To generate a plan of activities associated with culture and leisure and to develop tourism products.
- To involve the cultural and leisure sector in Turisme de Barcelona’s actions.
- To bring the city’s cultural and recreational offering to a wider audience through Turisme de Barcelona’s materials and publications.
- To channel demand towards establishments that are part of the programme.
